The Other-Abled Ministry provides a faith-sharing opportunity for adults with special needs and their families and caretakers. Any adult who has any disability may participate. Caretakers are asked to participate as well because they know their family members well and are best able to respond to the unique needs of their loved ones. The gatherings are both social and spiritual in nature, and strive to provide a balanced experience of church for the participants, including participation in liturgy, community and catechesis.
A sign language interpreter is present at most meetings.
